During this week, we attended an online lecture by the organization FreeFood, which showed us what an absurd problem food waste is in today’s world. At a time when millions of people are suffering from hunger, tons of food ends up in the garbage – not because it is not edible, but because of aesthetics, expiration dates or poor planning. As part of the European Waste Reduction Week, this year dedicated to food, we learned how we can all contribute to solving this problem.
