On Wednesday 20 November we took part in the Plastic Clever Schools project (https://plasticcleverschools.co.uk/) After clearing our yard of plastic litter, we inventoried the different types of plastics in our school and finally we turned plastic bottles and yoghurt pots into lovely Christmas bells for our Christmas Recycling Bazaar. On the same day, other students made use of used candles and candles brought to school by parents and teachers turning them into Christmas smelling and colourful candles! In the Erasmus+ project “running” in our school, the creativity and imagination of teachers and students work wonders!
On Thursday 21 November, students from our school visited a local organic workshop producing soap from used household oils. There, they attended a soap making program and made oregano essential oil that they will use next week to make organic ceramic ointment at school.
