They were asked to come up with concrete suggestions on how our school – our Hungarian partner school – could be made more sustainable.
The submissions reflected a variety of creative ideas. Some of the most common suggestions were
creating a school garden with seasonal vegetables,
the use of recycled materials in art and technology lessons,
regular project days on the subject of environmental awareness,
and the promotion of cycling and walking to and from school.
The pupils showed great commitment and creativity – their suggestions were a significant contribution on the way to a more sustainable school community.
