Evangelisches Kossuth Lajos Gymnasium Nyíregyháza – 27 November 2025

Our school successfully held the Erasmus+ Multiplier Day, during which we presented the latest results of our projects, the creation of our sustainable classroom, and the experiences gained through student mobilities.

The event was opened by Ildikó Bozorády, school pastor, and Béla Rubóczki, acting headmaster. In his speech, Mr. Rubóczki emphasized the important role of the Erasmus+ programme in the school life of our institution.

Afterwards, Gabriella Bogdán, project coordinator, introduced the professional background of the project and the educational innovations that we have implemented through European cooperation.
Teodóra Sipos presented the handbook jointly developed by teachers and students, followed by Boróka Tudja, a student, who shared her personal experiences and learning achievements from the mobility programmes.

Through a presentation video of the new Erasmus classroom, the audience was able to gain a lively impression of this important project result. After that, the guests took part in three interactive workshops:

  • Moss Decoration Craft Workshop – led by Ágnes Kézsmárki

  • Ecological Footprint in English Lessons – raising sustainable awareness

  • Production of Bioplastic – led by Lajos Barkó

A special highlight was the ceremonial handover of the new sustainable classroom, which will now serve as a modern and inspiring learning space for the students.

Afterwards, a reception provided an opportunity for further exchange and international…conversations.

International cooperation – celebrating together

Our Italian and Slovak partner schools held their multiplier events on the same day, meaning the project results were presented simultaneously in three countries. This underscores the motto of our joint project:

“One united Europe – many shared values.”
