On November 27, 2025, our school, together with partner institutions in Hungary, Slovakia, and Italy, simultaneously organized national multiplier events. The aim of these events was to present the results of the Erasmus+ project and to introduce the topic of sustainability to a broader local community as well as to various professional stakeholders. During the event, we presented the main objectives, activities, and outcomes of the project, placing special emphasis on the sustainable learning environment created within the project and on environmentally conscious pedagogical methods.

At the beginning of the event, the school principal introduced the background and objectives of the project, as well as the importance of sustainable classrooms. Participants were also given insight into the course of the project and the newly designed sustainable learning environment through a short video.

Afterwards, the teachers involved in the project – including Gabriella Bogdán – gave presentations in which they shared their experiences and presented the sustainable and innovative teaching methods applied during the project. The students also played an active role: in their own presentations, they reported on their learning experiences and the new knowledge they had acquired throughout the project.

As part of the program, practical activities were also carried out. In Hungary, we organized a moss workshop, where participants could learn about natural and sustainable interior design as well as ways of creating green learning environments. In addition, a demonstration lesson on the importance of environmental protection was held. Furthermore, in the new sustainable classroom, we organized an English-language lesson on measuring the ecological footprint, in which participants were able to reflect interactively on their own impact on the environment.

A total of 25 external guests were invited to the event, including representatives of parents’ associations, the press, the municipality, and educational authorities, as well as school principals and teachers from other schools and representatives of religious institutions. Small gifts were prepared for the guests: moss souvenirs and Fair Trade chocolate in environmentally friendly packaging, highlighting the importance of sustainable and responsible consumption. Catering was also provided for the participants, contributing to a friendly and communal atmosphere throughout the event.
